When Richard Chassler began his comedy career, people didn't have cell phones, beepers were for doctors and "dealers" and Ronald Regan was still president! No newcomer to the world of Stand-Up Comedy, Richard brings many years of road touring experience to his hilarious show which has been described as a cross between a roller-coaster and a Grateful Dead concert, never giving you the same show twice.
As a young comedian in the 1980's, Richard had the good fortune to open for and learn from many of the greats, including Rita Rudner, George Wallace. He even toured regularly with Marc Price, who, at the time, made his fame playing "Skippy" on the NBC hit show Family Ties. At one time, Richard was also one of the youngest touring headliners in the country!
Richard has toured extensively, performing in over 40 states & abroad. He spent five years touring w/cult comedy legend, the late Mitch Hedberg & also tours w/Reno 911's" own, Nick Swardson. He's appeared on MTV, VH1 & Comedy Central in addition to various television/film roles. He recently directed the T.V. pilot, "Kosher Kush" for Jewish Life T.V.
