Biography
He graduated from the National Academy of Acting directed by maestro Mario Scaccia in 1992. In 1994 he founded the theater production company "I Desiosi" with which in addition to producing live shows, he began a series of collaborations with major directors and actors of the Italian panorama.
In 2002 he was actor and assistant director of Mario Monicelli in the theatrical reduction of Amici miei.
From 2005 to 2008 he worked as a casting director for Rai and Endemol Italia, collaborating in the formation of several fiction casts.
In 2011 he was called to direct the Festival Massimo Troisi, section Cinema in San Giorgio a Cremano.
In 2014 he is on the scene alongside Giancarlo Giannini who directs and for whom he writes the show What do I think of Switzerland in memory of the twentieth anniversary of the death of Massimo Troisi, selected for the Giffoni Teatro Festival 2014.
In 2000 he was called by the Holy See as a director to set up shows at the Vatican Chancellery on the occasion of the Certamen Vaticanum of the Latinitas Vaticana.
In 2006 he was called by the Academy of Dramatic Art Silvio d'Amico to give lectures on acting and improvisation in front of the camera.
Directs the actor and dubber Ennio Coltorti in the show The king dies, by Eugène Ionesco in 2002; the following year he directed Silvio Spaccesi and again with Walter Maestosi in the Duke of Cornwall. In 2016 he founded the Cinemaplayers film acting school in Cesena.
He participates as an actor and assistant director in the production of shows such as Job with Paola Gassman directed by Ugo Pagliai, Valentino with Giuseppe Pambieri, The Strange Couple with Anna Mazzamauro and Maria Paiato. At the same time, with "I Desiosi" it is committed to the reintegration of prisoners by organizing shows in prisons and for the recovery of drug addicts.
In 2015 he is the director and actor of the show Omaggio a Troisi with Giancarlo Giannini. In 2016 he founded the Cinemaplayers school of cinema with Giancarlo Giannini and directors such as Gianfranco Albano and Giorgio Molteni
Honors: in 2018 he was awarded by His Royal Highness Pietro di Borbone-Two Sicilies of the silver merit medal of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George.
