Per Sofia (2009)
Giordano Petri (born in Città di Castello, 1979) is an experienced Italian actor, nephew of great director Elio Petri. Diplomated at prestigious Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, he took part in a number of successful Italian TV fictions such as 'Medico in famiglia', 'Distretto di Polizia', and 'Rosso San Valentino'. His first cinematic role was in a Roberto Benigni movie; in 2010 he was the protagonist of 'Per Sofia', feature film which premiered at Venice Film Festival out of competition, earning several prizes for his acting. Along Flavio Bucci and Massimo Bonetti Petri is the protagonist also of 'Credo in un solo padre', feature film by Luca Guardabascio, which is going to be theatrically released in Fall 2019.
