Biography

Rachael Markarian is a Middle Eastern-American actress and multi-hyphenate artist, whose career spans over two decades in film, television, and stage. She can be seen alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, and with Harrison Ford in Marvel's Captain America: Brave New World, along with recurring roles on Sweet Magnolias, All American, It's Not Like That, NCIS: NY, Glee, and True Blood.

Rachael's versatility as a performer stems from her work as a Pro-Dancer & Choreographer. She's toured internationally and performed with global icons like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Pink, Cher, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and Panic At The Disco, amongst others. Her ability to move seamlessly between acting and movement gives her a unique edge as a hybrid artist.

On stage, she's played Kari in Craig Wright's play, The Pavilion, at the prestigious Malibu Playhouse.

Additional acting credits include; Magnum P.I., Tales of the Walking Dead, The Morning Show, The Ms. Pat Show, First Wives Club, Queens, On a Wing and a Prayer, Bandit, Disney's Descendants: The Rise of Red, and Lifetime Original's Pretty Hurts, to name a few.

Rachael is also passionate about educating the next generation of aspiring artists. As an international Master Teacher & Mentor, she often travels the country working with dancers of all ages at studios, universities, and conservatories, helping prepare them for the professional industry. Most recently, Rachael wrote & published The Dancer's Edge: A Guide & Workbook to Mastering Mindset, Artistry, and Opportunity on and off the Dance Floor.
