Biography

Born in Wisconsin, Jeremy has also lived in Washington, Illinois, and now lives in Los Angeles. Jeremy is a screenwriter and playwright. After receiving a BA in English/Creative Writing from the University of Washington, he received an MFA in Playwriting from UCLA. His play Another Harvest Moon, dealing with the subject of "death with dignity," was performed in Seattle and was later adapted for the screen. Other plays have been produced in Seattle and Southern California. Jeremy has volunteered for the Virginia Avenue Project in Santa Monica, teaching playmaking to at risk youth. He also holds an MA in Special Education and has taught students with moderate to severe disabilities. He wrote two plays, Philo Taylor Farnsworth Invented TV and Pandora and Prometheus, for students to perform (including parts for highly verbal students with learning disabilities as well as non- and low-verbal autistic students). Two of his screenplays have been named "Second Rounders" at the Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, including Another Harvest Moon.
