Biography

Pierluigi "Gigi" Malavasi, AIC, is an Italian Director of Photography based in Los Angeles, where he has worked in film and television for over two decades. His recent credits include Under the Stars, starring Toni Collette and Andy Garcia; Eternal Return, starring Kit Harington and Naomi Scott; and Miranda’s Victim, featuring Abigail Breslin, Donald Sutherland, Andy Garcia, and Luke Wilson. His work also includes Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets (Hulu), Tales (BET), Ghost House (Amazon Prime), and The Long Night. Gigi’s approach to cinematography is rooted in naturalism, strong visual storytelling, and finding the right look for each story.
