  • Australian producer and creative executive Ben McNeill has built a career spanning more than two decades across feature film, television, documentary, immersive media, post-production and distribution. His work spans Sundance and Venice-recognised independent productions through to major studio features and international television projects.

    He is Managing Director of production company Intrinsic Story and post-production company Post Impact, and a Director of Roaring Entertainment, an independent theatrical distributor operating across Australia and New Zealand.

    His producing credits include the AACTA-nominated Australian comedy A Savage Christmas, the Logie-nominated ABC drama In Our Blood and the feature documentary Dying to Live, which screened at the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide Film Festivals, CinefestOZ and Byron Bay before a national theatrical release through Madman, broadcast on SBS and international distribution.

    McNeill served as Production Executive on Michael Rowe’s Venice Days-winning Australian-Canadian feature Early Winter. His collaboration with three-time Emmy Award-winning producer Mark Lewis includes The Standard of Perfection and The Pursuit of Excellence for PBS, and the Sundance-premiered 3D feature Cane Toads: The Conquest, produced with Participant Media and Discovery Studios.

    Additional screen credits include Unbroken, San Andreas, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Thor: Ragnarok, Mad Max: Fury Road, Guardians of the Tomb, Christmas on the Farm, The Starter Wife, Sea Patrol and Retrograde. Documentary and factual credits include Frackman, Show Me the Magic, Rise of the Eco Warriors, The Worm Hunters and Reptilian Battleground.

    McNeill has also taught film producing at Bond University.
