Julia Folsom
Julia Clarise Folsom was born in State College, Pennsylvania on the fifth day of October in 1993 to Al and Vanessa Folsom. Dr. Folsom is a Captain in the U. S. Coast Guard and Vanessa is a homemaker, who along with her agent, helps manage Julia's career. Julia pursued her acting career in both Northern and Southern California before relocating with her family to Northern Virginia in the fall of 2005. Julia began playing the piano when she was five. It wasn't until she turned nine, that she decided to become an actress. She joined her school's choir and drama club and her parents enrolled her in dance classes (jazz & hip hop). She quickly showed signs of talent and was given solos in choir and lead roles in school plays. She branched out into local theater and participated in seven productions.

At age ten, she enrolled in formal acting classes near San Francisco. She attended acting conferences in New York City and Los Angeles, where she won Honorable Mention in the Sitcom Division for her age group. She signed with a talent agency in Los Angeles where she and her mother relocated for five months to continue her career. Shortly after her arrival in LA, she obtained small roles in two films: "Triloquist and "Quality Programming". She also completed two spec commercials for Coke and Pepsi, an industrial for Kidz Online, appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and Nickelodeon's "Friday Night Slime Time". Julia was then cast as Jessy Butterworth in "Fleetwood" which had a cast showing at Paramount Studios' Gowen Theater in December of 2005.

Shortly after her family relocated to Northern Virginia, Julia signed with Beverly Brock of The Brock Agency, Inc. in North Carolina. Julia was cast as Cassy Stevens in "Beneath the Stage" which was shot in New York City in January 2006 and in February 2006, Julia was cast in a music video for Darkest Hour's song "Sound the Surrender" which was shown on MTV2 Headbanger's Ball. Julia took several months off to enjoy the birth of her brother and in May 2007, Julia was cast in two new projects: a film called "A Thin Camel" and a TV drama pilot series called "The Drama Queens Club".

In her spare time, Julia plays the electric guitar weekly with her church's Daybreak Praise Team on Sunday mornings and with a teen Christian band Sunday nights. She also writes songs, sings, dabbles with the keyboard and drums, and enjoys playing softball. Julia shows her school spirit as a cheerleader for her high school.
