Will Strouse was born on October 12, 1977 in the USA. Will is a writer and producer, known for The Last Traveling Salesman on Earth (2015), The Last Traveling Salesman (2016) and Lonesome Town. Will has been married to Erin Murtaugh since June 14, 2008. They have two children.

He is the son-in-law of actor James Murtaugh and nurse Alice H. Murtaugh of New York City.

He was the 2002 Chesterfield Writer's Film Project screen-writing fellowship.

He graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

He is the son of director and choreographer, Barbara Siman, and Broadway composer Charles Strouse of New York City, New York.

Brother of Victoria Strouse, Nicholas Strouse and Benjamin Strouse.
