- Nicole Mosleh is a writer and director. She was a scholar at the Universié d'Été of the Femis in Paris. In 1998/99 she completed her education as a screenwriter at the Drehbuchwerkstatt München at the HFF in Munich, also on a scholarship. In 1999 Mosleh became a directing fellow at the American Film Institute (AFI).

- While writing the screenplay for her first feature Nemesis, she always had Ulrich Mühe as the main protagonist in mind. Not knowing him, she left a copy of the screenplay with her cell phone number on it with the doorman of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, where Mühe was rehearsing a play at the time. Ten days later Mühe called her. They met in Berlin and he agreed to play the part.
