Biography

Roxana Rotundo is the CEO and Founder of VIP 2000 TV, an independent production and distribution company based in Miami specializing in films and premium content for the Hispanic market. With more than 20 years of experience, she has built and expanded a catalog of over 3,000 hours of programming distributed across international markets.

Since launching its original production division in 2014, VIP 2000 TV has produced more than 300 hours of Spanish-language content. Among its most recognized projects is Amores Que Engañan, a two-season series that became Lifetime Latin America's first original production. The company has also produced 11 Christmas movies celebrating Latin culture and traditions for audiences worldwide.

In 2024, VIP 2000 TV expanded its international production footprint with KUMA, The Other Wife, its first Turkish telenovela co-production, a 100-episode series filmed in Istanbul. The company also completed Valentina, My Special Love, a telenovela co-produced with Zee Entertainment and filmed in Mexico, promoting autism acceptance through compelling storytelling.

In 2025, VIP 2000 TV entered the fast-growing Premium Vertical Series market, producing 10 premium micro-drama vertical series filmed in Miami and Turkey. The company further expanded its portfolio through co-productions including Love Stories from the Bible with NBCUniversal and Christmas Mix Up with A&E Networks.

Building on this momentum, 2026 marked another year of international growth. VIP 2000 TV partnered with Sony Pictures to develop La Llorona, inspired by the legendary Latin American myth and produced for both the vertical and traditional horizontal formats.

The company also co-produced Golpes, written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Nicolás Giacobone in partnership with Spain's El Sueño Eterno, completing principal photography in May 2026. That same year, VIP completed production on the faith-based theatrical feature The Last Week of Jesus, scheduled for release in fall 2026.

Beyond her work in entertainment, Roxana serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Worldwide Audiovisual Women Association (WAWA), a global nonprofit connecting more than 600 women across the audiovisual industry. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). Living with progressive hearing loss and having two cochlear implants, she is a passionate advocate for accessibility. In addition, she is a member and juror of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, helping recognize excellence in global television.
