Biography

Anuj Patil is a second-generation Entrepreneur. Anuj graduated from Pune University with Business Entrepreneurship/Banking Finance and later enrolled in Vancouver Film School, where he established himself as a post-grad honour student. In 1997 Anuj started his early career in the entertainment business, fashion sector, and pharma intermediates. He further expanded his skill set and experience internationally by pursuing his passion for film in North America as a Creative Director and Visual Effects Supervisor. The Canadian film industry was more than welcoming to Anuj and was well recognized by the film Industry nationwide with a Canadian Film and Television Academy nomination and was invited to be a voting member on the panel of judges and board for many prestigious professional organizations like The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Los Angeles) and Visual Effect Society (Los Angeles). With a history of critical visual effects contributions to major prime time television productions and Hollywood blockbuster films like Warner Bros' Green Lantern, HBO's Game Of Thrones, Brad Peyton's San Andreas, Roland Emmerich's 2012, Wachowski brother's Speed Racer, to name a few. Films like these have set a benchmark in Visual Effects technology where he has played important roles as a Senior Technical Director, Visual effects supervisor, and Visual effects producer. His work as Creative Director (VFX) has involved working on renowned productions for distinguished studios such as Netflix, DreamWorks SKG, Warner Bros. Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney Home Entertainment, and New Line Cinema to name a few. Anuj continues to contribute on a global scale through his very own production company Pixel Eye Pictures, Inc which has managed to pool global award-winning talent under one banner.
