- David Lee Denny Jr. was born to David Lee Denny Sr.and the late Sharon Louise Faison Denny on October 10, 1980. He graduated from William M. Meredith Elementary School for Performing Arts, and then attended Central High School of Philadelphia (258th class) and graduated with an honorary Bacheolors of Arts Degree. He also received the title of Distinguished Student. David performed well in the areas of math and science and had an interest in Biology, Chemistry,Human Anatomy, as well as the creative arts. David attended Tuskegee University and successfully obtained a Bacheolors of Science Degree in Biology and was ranked as one of the top students in the College of Agricultural, Environmental and Natural Sciences program (CAENS) for the academic year of 2001. David also received honors of Magna Cum Laude at his graduation ceremony. He was accepted into a few medical schools and chose to attend Morehouse School of Medicine with an interest in General Surgery.

- David was United Negro College Fund Scholarship recipient and was interviewed for his scholastic accomplishments by WDAS 1480 AM Radio Station in Philadelphia, PA.
- During his teenage years, David weighed over a whopping 400 pounds with an alarming blood pressure of 190/100. He lost 210 pounds within two years and has successfully maintained his weight loss for seven years. David jogs 4 miles three times a week.
