Markus Seaberry has always been a creative person. He was bitten by the acting bug in daycare, and appeared in king and queen pageants and plays. He also dabbled in acting in high school, portraying Asagai in a production of Raisin in the Sun. He chose to major in Communications at the University of Memphis and dabbled in radio, working at WUMR 91.7 FM, the University of Memphis' volunteer jazz station under the name "Mark Love". He was also a board operator at Christian talk station WCRV-AM 640 and at WLOK-AM 1340. He eventually got a paying radio personality gig at 1380-AM, a gospel radio station once owned by World Overcomers Outreach Minitries Church. A victim of downsizing, his weekend shift was taken from him after almost two years. In 2004, he threw caution to the wind and auditioned for Forty Shades of Blue on the University of Memphis campus. He didn't get the part, but he did rediscover his love for acting. He eventually landed a role as the Film Geek in What Goes Around, the debut directorial feature from University of Memphis alumni Rod Pitts, and the rest was history. His association with Rod Pitts led to a meeting with actor/filmmaker Keenon Nikita and getting a role in his directorial debut Just the Two of Us.

He met Rod Pitts, with whom he frequently collaborates, in a College Algebra class at the University of Memphis.
He continues acting in his spare time. Markus also dabbles in spoken word and hip-hop and continues to use the arts as therapy and an escape from the mundane rigors of day-to-day life. He frequently attends acting classes at the Red West Studio in Memphis.
Was in Rod Pitts' "Black Snake Moan" trailer that was filmed as part of a contest; it won first prize. Still acting in several independent films in the Memphis area.
Occasionally contributes to comic book podcasts (Geekland) and a podcast associated with www.fusedfilm.com (Entertainment Overload). He also writes for www.fusedfilm.com and regularly updates his blog.
Recently filmed two commercials for Memphis television station WMC-TV 5.
