Ian Halperin produced, directed, and composed the music for the documentary film, His Highness Hollywood (2008), and wrote the (2007) book, "Hollywood Undercover", based on his experience making the film. He is a NY Times bestselling author and winner of the Rolling Stone Magazine Award for Investigative Journalism. He is the author of seven books, including "Love and Death: The Murder Of Kurt Cobain" and "Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story", and a biography of Céline Dion. He has contributed to 60 Minutes 2 and Court TV. Halperin has been featured on Dateline NBC (1992), The Today (1952) Show, Howard Stern and Paula Zahn. When he posed as a model in 2001 to expose the fashion industry, his expose book, "Bad & Beautiful", became an international bestseller. Jackie Collins named it her "book of the year" in the 2002 London Daily Mail year-end roundup. Halperin is also a highly acclaimed saxophonist/composer. He has toured all over the world, playing festivals and clubs.
