- He is a former NFL offensive lineman, who played primarily with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars in an 11 year career spanning between 1992-2002. He was drafted in the first-round and 11th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers out of the University of Miami in the 1992 NFL Draft.
- He spent one season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2001 before signing with the Miami Dolphins in 2002. He tried to earn a starting position with Miami, but ultimately he was placed on the injured reserved list. After the 2002 season he retired.
- He is the offensive line coach at Florida International University.
