- Ilija Trojanow was born on August 23, 1965 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He is a director and writer, known for The World is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner (2008), Vorwärts und nie vergessen - Ballade über bulgarische Helden (2007) and Menschenkinder (2013).
