Biography

Eduardo Strauch was born on August 13, 1947 in Montevideo, Uruguay. He is an actor, known for The Endless Flight (2020), Alive: 20 Years Later (1993) and Stranded (2007). He has been married to Laura Braga since 1979. They have five children.

He is a survivor of the 1972 airplane crash in the Andes.

He was portrayed by Gian DiDonna in the film Alive (1993).

Was one of the sixteen survivors of the ill-fated Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 which crashed in the Andes mountains on October 13, 1972.

Cousin of Daniel Fernández Strauch and Adolfo Strauch. They also survived the crash.
