Biography

  • In 2025, Bashir joined CBS’s Watson as a writer producer for its second season, created and showrun by Craig Sweeny and executive produced by Aaron Kaplan. He came to the series directly after wrapping his work as a writer producer on Hulu’s Murdaugh: Death in the Family (2024 to 2025), a true crime drama created by Michael Fuller and executive produced by Nick Antosca and Patricia Arquette. In 2023, he served as co producer on a Bosch spin off for Amazon and was previously the executive story editor on Peacock’s Dr. Death, produced by Patrick Macmanus. Bash has also written for Hulu’s The Girl from Plainville, working alongside Liz Hannah and Patrick Macmanus. Additionally, he wrote and produced two episodes of CBS’s Good Sam with Jennie Urman executive producing, and co wrote and produced the second episode of Power: Raising Kanan for Starz with Sascha Penn. His development work includes projects with CBS and a pilot script sold to USA Network and UCP. Across these roles, Bash has built meaningful on set experience producing multiple episodes of television, at a time when sustained writer presence in production has become increasingly limited across the industry. Beyond his writing, acting, and production work, he brings a unique perspective as a former cardiac nurse and proudly embraces his Jamaican heritage.
