Biography

Award winning Producer, Writer and Author Kevin Romano - Huhn had his directing debut in 2024 with the short documentary: The DNA of LOVE. This storyteller extraordinaire, at the age of 57 decided to go back to school (Toronto Film School) to study Film & TV Production. During his time in school, he and 4 other classmates, co-founded MARKD Productions (a video production company). Kevin has written 3 short dramas, 1 feature (musical), and is working on 2 more features. He has produced 5 short films. His first short - Teen Across Canada (Directed by Robert Crowley Smith) has been selected, received finalist status and won festivals for Best Short Documentary, Best Director and Best Producer. Kevin's short drama - Hope for Christmas was selected, received finalist status and won festivals for Best Short Drama, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Producer. The Package was nominated multiple times and The DNA of LOVE has won as well. Kevin's screen productions started in 2004, with nothing more than a vision when he produced his own TV & radio show that aired on NHL Network, FOX Sports, Sirius/XM and TSN Radio. In 2012, he won a civic recognition award from the city of Markham, Ontario. His passion to entertain, empower and educate is fueled by his life long mission to put smiles on the faces of those he meets.
