- Graduated Yale School of Drama with an MFA.
- Nominated for The 1998 Barrymore Award for Best Supporting Actor in A Play in "Molly's Delicious" written by Craig Wright.
- A 2000 Independence Foundation Fellowship allowed him to go to Bali, Indonesia. He trained for three months with village masters and American teachers in mask work, puppetry and Balinese dance.
- In 2001 won a Barrymore Award for his work in "It's All True", playing John Houseman.
