Aaron Denius Garcia

Biography

Aaron Denius Garcia

Overview

  • Born
July 17 · Blacksburg, Virginia, USA
  • Height
    6′ (1.83 m)

Mini bio

  • Born in the wonderful state of Virginia, Aaron spent his childhood splitting time between Venezuela and the U.S. After a disagreement with his Baseball coach, Aaron decided to try out for the spring play at Annandale High School instead of play Baseball. He was bitten by the acting bug and after graduating from Virginia Tech, Aaron moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Aaron enjoyed some early success as and actor and model. He realized that he didn't feel fulfilled by either of those careers and it wasn't until he took a screenwriting class at Santa Monica College that he realized Storytelling was his true passion. It was then that he began his writing career, all the while performing stand up comedy on the side to hone his skills.

Constantly putting the pen to the paper, he found a writing home on the TNT show "Leverage". Following a two year stint on the show, Aaron moved on to more personal endeavors in both film and books. After writing and directing the festival acclaimed "In Sickness and In Health", he flipped the coin over and wrote the children's holiday picture book "Santa's Plight".

His current book "GENE.SYS.", a Young Adult Dystopian novel, is available on Amazon now.

Quotes

  • Story to me is life. It's purpose. We as humans have an the opportunity and obligation to live the most truthful story ever told, unfortunately so few ever live truthfully. They don't follow their dreams and live lives filled with regrets and "what ifs". I make it my purpose to pursue the dreams and life that I want. It's very hard, but at the end of the day, when people read the story of my life, they will say, "He was true to himself".
