  • Filipp Avdeev is a Russian theater and film actor. Studied at Class-Center-School, which began as a children's theater-satellite of the Moscow Theater for Young Spectators. Now it is a school with a theater focus. After three years of study, Filipp was invited to the musical 'Nord-Ost' based on the novel by Veniamin Kaverin "Two Captains". In October 2002, Filipp was in the theater building at the time of the terrorist attack in the building of the Theater Center on Dubrovka. He participated in the play that day, stood behind the scenes and waited for his turn in the second act. Suddenly people with machine guns ran onto the stage. The teacher gave him a clear kick to let him know that he had to run somewhere. He hid in the dressing room. There were already several kids and their parents there. They sat in the dressing room for six hours. Then they were freed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations: the bars were opened, and they started jumping from the second-floor window. After the terrorist attack, he played in the musical for another year, replacing the deceased little actor who had previously played in the first cast.

During his school years, in addition to theatrical creativity, he was fond of music and dancing. In 2003-2008 - actor of the Children's Musical Theater of the Young Actor. In 2012, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (Kirill Serebrennikov's Seventh Studio). Since 2012 - actor at the Gogol Center.

He began acting in 2003, debuting in the leading role of Artyom in the children's film Tayna Goluboy doliny (2004).

Quotes

  • As a child, our area seemed dangerous, daring, there were a lot of gopniks. I remember there was a green pavilion near the metro where homeless people hung out. There was a car nearby, a 'nine' or 'Zhiguli'. Once I saw an open trunk, and there were bats and chains lying there
