Nicholas James was born on December 1, 1983 in Greenville, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for The Haves and the Have Nots (2013), Prom Night (2008) and NCIS: New Orleans (2014). He has been married to Tika Sumpter since May 14, 2022. They have one child.

Has a daughter, Ella-Loren, born October 8, 2016 with wife Tika Sumpter.

Originally from Greenville, Pennsylvania.

His interests include skydiving and surfing as well as standup paddle boarding, snorkeling, hiking, animals and exotic teas.

He attended Penn State Behrend College, studying management and marketing.
