- Greg's love of comedy came from his late father, a one time professional stand up comedian who introduced Greg at a very early age to the works of comedy legends like Mel Brooks, Laurel & Hardy, Jackie Gleason & Ernie Kovacs. Greg and his dad were also huge fans of the late John Candy.
- Openly speaks of suffering from major depression throughout his life and feels more awareness should be brought to the seriousness of mental health as well as better access to psychiatric healthcare. He has the semicolon tattoo which represents standing in solidarity for sufferers of mental health conditions and those lost to suicide.
- Was accepted with a merit scholarship to New York City's American Academy Of Dramatic Arts however extenuating circumstances caused him to be unable to attend.
