He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1950.In 1957, he plays first role in the movie Eruptia .Other notable roles in films : The Devil's Ravine (1957), Singuratatea florilor (1976) and Neamul Soimarestilor (1965).
