Cher Calvin was born on August 1, 1974 in New York City, New York, USA. She is an actress, known for Hancock (2008), Chuck (2007) and Messiah (2020).

Her father is Filipino actor Roger Calvin.

She graduated from the Marymount School of New York, a college preparatory, independent Catholic day school for girls in 1992.

She graduated from the College of Arts and Science at New York University in 1997 with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
