- Bob Smiley was born on June 28, 1977 in Ventura, California, USA. He attended Princeton University where he was co-chairman of the Princeton Tiger humor magazine and studied playwriting, taking classes from Christopher Durang and Athol Fugard. He is a 2015 Writers Guild Award winner. In late-2015, he co-founded the Humble Picture Company with screenwriter Grant Nieporte.
