Biography

Richard McBride is known for Harry in Wonderland (1990) and Battle of the Generations (2023).

Worked three years as an Assistant Cruise Director/Singer/Dancer for Princess Cruises - the LoveBoat! Destinations; Hawaii. Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand, Russia,England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Norway, Iceland, Germany, China, Korea, Japan, Caribbean, Panama Canal, Columbia, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Mexico, Florida, New York, New England, Quebec, Alaska, Vancouver.

Grew up in competitive figure skating. After attending theater school at the Banff Centre of Fine Arts (Banff, Alberta, Canada), he began adding ice shows to his resume. Locations included Mexico, Japan, Dubai, Knott's Berry Farm in California and on tour with Nancy Kerrigan in Grease on Ice for Disney.

In 1997 he became interested in pursuing bodybuilding and fitness modeling - assignments including Exercise For Men Only magazine.

Has an extensive background as a singer/dancer/actor in musical theatre and worked as a dancer in the feature films; Life or Something Like It, Josie & the Pussycats, Back in Black.

Concurrent with other performing pursuits, Richard enjoyed an extensive ice show career. Recently created/ designed programs to compete at the Gay Games 09 in Cleveland, Ohio winning a Gold & Silver medal in Men's open Free Skate and Artistic Free Skate. It had been 31 years since his last competition.
