Biography

Danwoo Jung made his debut with Off-Broadway play 'Awesome 80s Prom' (2005) in Baltimore Hippodrome Theatre in Maryland. He majored Theatre (Acting) in University of Maryland and University of California.

In the movie 'Finding Joy' (2010) collaborated by Germany, Ireland, and Korea, he took a unique and essential role. He acted as a cheerful photographer and worked with Scha Alya, who is one of the most reputable actresses in Southeast Asia, in Awan Dania Season 3 (2010) which Season 1,2 are successfully showed on Astro TV.

His next film was in Singapore, the title is 'Crossings' (2011) and he played the lead character 'Jae' who falls in love with a stranger. He played a psychiatrist in the Korean featured film 'Client.' (2011) Then he played the lead character, the genius artist who suffers from psychosis in the movie 'Dream the Good Dream' (2011).

He worked with a Japanese director, Banmei Takahashi, in the film 'The Man of White Porcelain.' (2012) He plays the fighter for the national independence. His next film was 'A Man's World.' (2012) He plays the lead character, an elite guy from Ivy League, who is going through social and inner conflicts of being homosexual in Korea.

He worked with Edgar Pera, who is one of the most respected directors in Portugal, in a film 'One Way or Another.' (2012) He plays a lead character the psychopath. In 2013, he played a successful business man in Korean TV series 'The Secret of Birth.'

In 2014, Danwoo Jung made his debut as a director with the film 'Mongolian Princess.'
