  • Graduated from the degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM-X) as well as from the National Film School of Mexico (before CUEC, now ENAC), where he studied filmmaking. He has directed, photographed and produced various audiovisuals such as: short films, documentaries, video clips, commercials and television series, all of them produced in Mexico, Central America, Latin America and Europe. His works as a film director have been selected in several national and international film festivals festivals such as the Morelia International Film Festival (6 times), the European Media Arts Festival of Osnabrück, Germany; the SEMECI, the International Festival of Huesca and the International Film Festival of Donostia - San Sebastián, among others. He was part of the Berlinale Talent Campus (Guadalajara) 2012; he has been awarded for best documentary short film at DOCS DF Film festival by the direction of La Ahorcadita; Co-edited several feature films, of which The darkest days of us (Nominated for two Arieles in 2019) and the ira or the Seoul (2019) stand out. In 2017 he was nominated for the Ariel award for best edition for El Sueño del Marakame (2017). His latest project of short film Strangers on the train, has been selected in several film festivals among which Black Canvas FCC and the International Festival of Morelia 2020 He co - writen the script for Viaje al país de los Tarahumaras, a project that participated in the residence of the Cinéfondation in Cannes. At the same time, he is in the pre-production of his debut film as director entitled No Nos Moverán, which participated in the «Morelia - Sundance Screenwriters Lab 2019".
