Biography

Dmitry Sharakois born in Moscow, USSR.

From the age of 15, he acted in films and played in the theatre a lot.

At the age of 16 he started studying and at the age of 20 he graduated from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts.

He worked in four Moscow theatres, took part in a large number of theatrical productions. He worked at the Mayakovsky Theater, at the Malaya Bronnaya Theater, at the Moscow Theater of the Young Spectator MTYUZ, etc.

Acting in the film "Novaya Zemlya" in 2007 finally brought him fame and popularity. This movie had the award for the best cinematography at the Kinotavr film festival.

After that, Dmitry played one of the leading roles in the television series «Interns», which brought him popularity throughout the post-Soviet space - in Russia, Ukraine, etc.

Also, Dmitry played the main role in the first Ukrainian film in 3D format "Lyublyu i tochka ". The premiere of this film took place in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Further, after four months of casting, Dmitry was approved for the main role in the film "Kavkazskaya plennitsa!".

His track record includes more than 70 films, TV series and theatrical productions.

In 2018, Dmitry moved to permanently to the UK, London. He was successfully approved at his first casting in London and travelled to Madrid, Spain to take part in the filming for the UEFA EURO 2020 commercial.

He also does a voice over to the films and his track record already includes such studios as Netflix, Marvel and others.

Dmitry took part in the new film "Operation Fortune" directed by Guy Ritchie, the premiere of which is scheduled for 12th January 2023.

He was playing in the new film "Tetris" directed by Jon S. Baird, the premiere of which is scheduled for February 2023.

Dmitry Sharakois took part in two other big projects that are being prepared for release in 2023.
