In Japan he is dubbed by long-time Japanese movie star Nakamura Toru.

His first name pronounced correctly in Italian sounds like "Joe".

In the Japanese production Manhattan Diaries he plays the Italian love interest of the central female protagonist. While shooting the film, he spoke his lines fluently in both English and Italian even though he was later dubbed in Japanese when the movie came out.
