Biography

Agnes Gund was born on August 13, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. She was a producer, known for Sell/Buy/Date (2022), Paint Me a Road Out of Here (2024) and The Price of Everything (2018). She was married to Albrecht Saalfield and Daniel Shapiro. She died on September 18, 2025 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

She was awarded the American National Medal of the Arts in 1997 by the National Endowment of the Arts in Washington D.C. for her services as an arts patron.
