- The Buccaneers Octet (and sometimes Quartet) were prolific radio singers, and regulars on the Burns & Allen broadcasts of 1935. They appeared in several shorts for Vitaphone Corporation. In 1934 they recorded for Decca Records. Some of the members had been in the Clubmen Quartet in 1932. In the early 1940s they were featured performers at Radio City Music Hall.
