Bethany Carkhuff is the daughter of Waldo Carkhuff-an attorney, philanthropist, and diplomat. Raised in Japan and South Korea, she relocated to the United States as a teenager. Carkhuff gained early media attention in New York City, emerging as a young socialite with ties to high-profile figures including the Hadid and Jenner sisters, Paris Hilton, and others. She was a frequent guest at major entertainment events, such as the MTV Video Music Awards and other televised award ceremonies.

A gifted student, Carkhuff enrolled at Columbia University and graduated in 2014, shortly before her 19th birthday. After completing her degree, she stepped away from public life to pursue a more private path. Since then, she has worked at Morgan Stanley as a Private Wealth Manager.
