Biography

Sally Beamish is known for No Man's Land (2004), Four Days in July (1984) and Un chant de Noël - Un ballet d'après Charles Dickens (2023).

She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in March 2016.

She was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2020 Queen's Birthday Honours List for her services to Music. She was a composer in Hove, East Sussex, England.
