Biography

Vivek is a London Business School MBA. He forayed into the movie production business with the Hrithik Roshan - Saif Ali Khan blockbuster Na Tum Jaano Na Hum launching Esha Deol and followed it with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne launching Zayed Khan. Then came two back to back blockbusters Namastey London and Aap Kaa Surroor. He made many more big budget Bollywood films including Sunny Deol’s Dishkiyaaoon and Badass Ravikumar. He simultaneously produced International Cinema targeted at a global audience with Karma: Crime Passion Reincarnation winner at Greece and Spain and competing in Shanghai (2009). He went on to co-produce German films Indisch fur Anfanger and The Big Black and also Hollywood film Seal team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden, He has also produced French and Spanish films besides others.

Vivek is now developing many International as well as Hindi Film projects such as the high action Flex), romantic action thriller Mariana's Web and his Wikileaks style cyber espionage thriller Chasing The Code. His horror titled Hexing starring Dominique Swain has also garnered wide viewer interest and support. And most important of all is his passion project Weekend a beautiful new age young romance structuring a classical love story in an innovative new age screenplay set for filming soon. He is also producing Web Content and very high end TVCs having just completed the filming of Dharohar, India’s very first micro drama series to be filmed abroad, in Cambodia released on Amazon.

He serves permanently on the jury of Bridges Peloponnesian International Film Festival in Loutraki and Corinth in Greece and the Cyprus International Film Festival in Cyprus. He has also served as Juror and/or curator in festivals in USA, Turkey, Germany, Romania, India and other countries. Together with renowned Austrian filmmaker Bernhard Kammel, Vivek co-founded the Reaktor Indian Film Festival in Vienna, Austria where he curates and promotes Indian films. He was also invited to curate the Global Cinema Festival for the Film Federation of India. Vivek recently directed Snow White Mission Vienna which is selected at many festivals around the world and earlier directed a short film The Queenswalk Legend which was awarded the Gold Seal for Best Picture at the IAC Film Festival in the UK. He was also recently honored and felicitated as the Cultural Ambassador of the Basilicata region of Italy at the Marateale Film Festival in Italy.
