- JR Heffelfinger is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has premiered at top festivals, aired on PBS, and streamed on AppleTV and Amazon Prime. A 2x Telly winner and Webby honoree, he's known for emotionally resonant storytelling that reveals hidden truths about the human condition. His films include Niji no Shita Ni (Under The Rainbow), 8:15 Hiroshima (Audience Award, Nashville Film Festival), Segundos (Mill Valley) and Still Honeyman (2025). Born and raised in NYC with Puerto Rican roots, as of 2024 teaches film at the University of Florida.
