Biography

Matt started working at Hollywood video in 1995. Thru high school, college and after he worked exclusively at video stores until in 2008, when he started working for Troma Entertainment. At Troma he produced Father's Day, Return to Nuke'em High Vol.1 and 2 and oversaw the release of 80 titles on bluray and DVD. After leaving Troma in 2016 Matt produced some independent films including international co-productions with Italy. In 2018 at the Fantasia film festival Matt pitched the idea of bringing Joe Bob Briggs back to some representatives from Shudder and now he and his producing partner produce the number 1 show on AMC's streaming service THE LAST DRIVE-IN with JOE BOB BRIGGS. Thru their production company NOT THE FUNERAL HOME, Matt and his production partner produce several projects all over the world including the 2019 remake of Castle Freak for Cinestate which was shot in Albania.
