Biography

Miguel A. Salek is an award-winning Visual Effects Supervisor and Technical Director with over 18 years of experience collaborating on some of the industry's biggest franchises and most demanding commercial campaigns. He began his career as a compositor on Bee Season (2005) and has since overseen SB-VFX teams on blockbusters like Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi and Captain America: Civil War, while also contributing artistically to titles such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). His work in the main-title sequence for Marvel's Daredevil (2015) earned recognition from the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy committee for Outstanding Main Title Design, and he remains an active member of the Visual Effects Society (VES).
