Biography

Ryan Stacy was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 1, 1986 to parents Robert & Karen Stacy. The third of four siblings, Ryan lived in Medway, Ohio until he was 10. His family relocated to the quiet village of Brookville (now a city) in 1996 and remains there to this day. Attending Miami Valley Career Technology Center his junior & senior year of high school, Ryan's interest in film-making blossomed after receiving a video editing project for his senior project. His first film, "Midsummer Nightmares," was released in October 2011 by Concept Media, a company he co-founded with friend Shawn Burkett. The company has since released multiple films and shorts of the horror genre including a sequel to the company's first film entitled "Midsummer Nightmares II: Summer's End."

Decided to become a filmmaker at nine years old, aspiring to make a live action adaptation of "X-Men," in which he would cast Patrick Stewart and Halle Berry in the roles they would actually go on to play in the eventual "X-Men" film series.

Spent over a year and a half developing and creating the script for "Midsummer Nightmares II: Summer's End" (2013).

Based the costume party in "Midsummer Nightmares" (2011) off of his twenty-fourth birthday bash. He even wears a variation of his actual costume in the film, with many elements being altered for copyright purposes.
