Biography

Victor Dean was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from the prestigious School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). He began his acting career in the feature film, Heist, followed by a role in a pilot season of Boardwalk Empire, and wrote, produced, and starred in projects for Shaquille O'Neal and comedy legend Walter Latham. In 2013, Victor became disabled and pivoted his career in entertainment, becoming an award-winning producer, writer, and editor. His short film, "Mrs. Taylor’s Show & Tell: A Prince Story," was featured at the Pan African Film Festival, The Cleveland International Film Festival, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and Toronto Black Film Festival. He has also been a consecutive finalist in the Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition since 2022. Victor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Finance from Morehouse College as well as a certificate from NYU Tisch Film and TV Industry Essentials Program. Most recently, Victor was awarded a Yellowbrick Scholarship through The Juilliard School’s Extension Program.
