Biography

Born in Hollywood, the son of Director Michael O'Herlihy, Conal was educated in Ireland and completed his film degree at Loyola Marymount. Early career had him learning many crafts in post production, sound editing and camera. After a stint running stunt shows like WaterWorld at Universal Studios theme parks he moved to Television Development, bringing shows like The Rosie O'Donnell Show and Navidad en el Barrio telethon to the park. 3 TV specials in Japan for Universal Osaka had him using all his skills writing and producing for icons like Gene Hackman, Steven Spielberg and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Returning to the USA, he slid back into television production and stayed in the game show arena for a while before focusing on the US military with docu-reality non-fiction TV series. With all his high risk, danger experience in production he became a go-to producer for similar projects in other genres, keeping cast and crew safe in race cars and blowing stuff up - all over America.

In 2020 Conal launched his newest venture by starting his own production company No One Else Media, not for TV however but podcasting. Initially a boutique podcast content creation company, No One Else draws on the creatives of television to audio storytelling as well as Conal's marketing experience for branded podcasts. The Hollywood Interview podcast taps into Conal's DNA with interviews of Hollywood Icons and audio from their movie careers. Conal then aligned with Ladies Take The Lead and Alina Fridman to craft a podcast for lady entrepreneurs and the show is growing fast. Stay tuned as the slate of new shows is revealed.
