- Arnaldo Pomodoro was born on June 23, 1926 in Morciano di Romagna, Forlì, Emilia-Romagna, Italy [now Morciano di Romagna, Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy]. He was a costume designer and production designer, known for Un ballo in maschera (2005), L'inizio del tempo - Der Beginn der Zeit (2024) and Parola ai giovani (2023). He died on June 22, 2025 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.

I have always tried to express movement as an intensification of a condition of imbalance in order to create a striking contrast to any stasis or any reached or predictable order.
