Chris Cooley(I)

Chris Cooley is a Filmmaker, Editor, and Composer originally from Portland OR that recently moved back to Los Angeles from Berlin Germany. Chris is known mostly for his narrative and experimental short films and music videos. His films tend to be of a dark and visceral nature, attempting to simultaneously appeal to both the intellect and affect the subconscious. With only a few exceptions, his films are shot on film, predominantly 16mm. Often with the cinematography and/or music score having been performed by himself as well. He has also developed a reputation for his feature film editing abilities, mostly for his narrative editorial work. He has also edited for a variety of documentary and music related projects including for Universal, Geffen, and Atlantic Records.
