Biography

In addition to producing television series Invisible Boys which was released in February 2025 as a Stan Original with distribution by Banijay Rights, Tania Chambers most recently produced the comedy drama feature How To Please A Woman written and directed by Renee Webster, starring Sally Phillips with Madman Entertainment as A/NZ distributor, international sales by Beta Cinema. How to Please A Woman was number 3 of the Australian films in the Australian box office in its year of release, was selected for festivals including Seattle Film Festival, Toronto International Women Film Festival, Bentonville Film Festival and won the Prix St Tropez Cinéma des Antipodes and has been released around the world, including on Hulu in North America and Sky Cinema in the UK, and has subsequently been released on Stan and Netflix in Australia.

She produced the comedy feature A Few Less Men directed by Mark Lamprell written by Dean Craig, starring Xavier Samuel, Kris Marshall & Kevin Bishop. Studiocanal distributed the film in Australia and New Zealand with Arclight Films handling international sales.

Tania produced the comedy thriller film Kill Me Three Times, directed by Kriv Stenders, starring Simon Pegg, Alice Braga, Sullivan Stapleton, Teresa Palmer, Callan Mulvey, Luke Hemsworth and Bryan Brown, which was selected to screen on the opening weekend of the Toronto International Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival and BFI London International Film Festival. A/NZ distribution was via EntertainmentOne and worldwide sales through Radiant Films International. She also produced the first season of action-adventure children's series Itch for ABC Australia and ABC Commercial and the award-winning documentary Making Waves and short films.

Tania founded Feisty Dame Productions in 2012 and is currently a Board Member of Screen Australia, Australia's federal screen agency. Tania was formerly Chief Executive of Screen NSW and Screenwest, as well as Vice President of Screen Producers Australia and a Member of the Gender Matters Taskforce.

Tania received the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the Arts and to Film and Television in 2016 and an Honorary Doctorate of Performing Arts from ECU in 2022.
