Biography

Melissa Yu is a writer, filmmaker, photographer, and member of Local 44 with over two decades of experience in art department and props. She is a graduate of Chapman University School of Film and Television with Departmental Honors, where she received the Best Screenplay Award for her screenwriting. She was born in Queens, New York and raised in Los Angeles, where she now works in film, television, streaming, theatre, commercial video media, and beyond.
