Jorge Valdés-Iga, a seasoned creative and a beacon of warmth and humor, has had a remarkable global journey. Born in Cuba in 1982 and raised in Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Costa Rica, New York, and Paris, Jorge's upbringing as the son of Mexican diplomats cultivated a broad cultural perspective, enriching his worldview and creative vision.

A lover of the arts, Jorge pursued a double major in Motion Pictures and Studio Art at the University of Miami, Florida, alongside a minor in Classical Guitar Performance. His passion for film also inspired him to found the UM Film Society, providing a nurturing platform for fellow film enthusiasts.

Jorge's multifaceted film career includes directing standout feature films such as "Hotel Chelsea" and "I Was There," and serving as a cinematographer for riveting documentaries such as 'Cocaine Cowboys II' and ESPN's 30/30 documentary "The U."
