Christopher Tricarico is the founding partner of the boutique entertainment law firm, Tricarico Chavez, LLP, where he represents individual and institutional clients in various transactions in connection with all aspects of the development, production, financing, and distribution of motion pictures, television programming, music videos, video games, music, animation, publishing and other entertainment content.

He previously served as Executive Vice President, Business Affairs and General Counsel of the now defunct Broad Green Pictures, LLC, a full-service motion picture production and distribution company. Mr. Tricarico was formerly a partner in entertainment group of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, and started his legal career in the entertainment group of O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Century City.

His clients range from independent production companies, producers, writers and rights holders to financiers, and include Scott Free Productions, MTV Networks, The Philip K. Dick Estate, and The Walt Disney Company.

Mr. Tricarico is also a well-respected film and television producer. His film producing credits include the Academy Award nominated foreign film "1982", the Emmy nominated film "Uncle Frank", "May in the Summer" which opened the Sundance Film Festival in 2013, and his television producing credits include the Emmy Award winning series "Man in the High Castle" for Amazon, the highly rated "Being Bobby Brown" which aired on Bravo and the syndicated series "Home Team".

Mr. Tricarico received a bachelor of arts degree in English and Journalism from the University of Southern California in 1987, a master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 1990, and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991. He is admitted to practice in California and a member of the State Bar of California.

He has served as an arbitrator and member of the Independent Film & Television Alliance, has written extensively about licensing, merchandising and music issues and the law, and has served as the legal advisor to the Producers Guild of America, the Sundance Institute Producers' Lab and a mentor for Film Independent.
